Jacob's Birthday Party

Jacob invited us to his birthday party at Little Bear play area. It was a special treat because we got to go during the school day. We had a lot of fun celebrating Jacob turning 4 years old!

We got to workout.

So many places to climb and slide.

We could climb a rock wall.

They even had a trampoline!

One of our favorite parts was spinning around so fast until we fell down. Check it out!

Happy birthday Jacob! Thanks for inviting us. We had so much fun!

Baby Smiles

It's a Bugs's Life

The kids found a cricket on the playground and they enjoyed watching it and trying to catch it. Unfortunately, his life was very short but it was very entertaining.

Apples!

When learning about the color red, we also learned about apples.

Esther and Frances are doing a great job on their coloring. Look at those circles Esther made and all the colors Frances used!

We used our hands to paint an apple.

We stenciled with some apple cutouts and used sponges to paint our red apples. We enjoyed watching the apples appear when we took away the stencil.

Monkey and Me

This week at the library, Ms. Anderson read us a book called Monkey and Me.

Then she brought a friend out to play.

We got to talk to the monkey like in the book.

Afterwards, we got to choose books and read up in the loft for the first time this year.

RED

This week we have been exploring the color...RED. We looked at items Ms. Jennifer had in a basket and found the red ones. Then we used magnifying glasses to look at the things we found.

We searched around the room for red items. Shelby Grace found a red star. Sofie found a red book.

We worked together to make a red collage.

Our collage was full of different textures and materials. We enjoyed feeling the different itesm and using our fingers.
Some of the items we used were:

  • construction paper

  • felt

  • pom poms

  • shiny wrapping paper

  • colored noodles

  • stickers- felt stickers and shiny stickers

  • markers

  • dot painters

  • stamps

  • crayons

  • stamp markers

  • giltter glue

  • glitter markers

  • foam stickers
Some of the skills we used to make our collage were:

  • gluing

  • taping

      Building away!

      Hula Hoops

Check out our gross motor skills. We can jump through hula hoops one at a time.

We went on a hula hoop walk.

      Watch us twirl our hoops!

      Little smiling faces

      Multi-tasking

We can walk in a line!
